Who we are and what this policy covers
This policy explains how Bamboo Marketing Pty Ltd (ABN 33 111 342 486), 63 Ann Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010 handles personal information collected through theshelfbook.com.au. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Trudy Lite, trevor.services and bamboomarketing.com.au are separate sites with their own privacy notices.
What we collect
- When you fill in a form on this site: your email address, which list you joined (the Kill Sheet or first copies), whether you ticked the box to hear from us, the page you were on, the page that referred you, and the time.
- When you email us: your name, your email address and anything you choose to tell us.
- Automatically: our website host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time, to run and protect the site.
We do not ask for sensitive information, and we ask you not to send it.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising pixels or fonts loaded from other companies. If that changes, we will update this policy before the change goes live.
How we use your information

- if you ticked the box, to send you occasional emails about The Shelf and the promotions work of Bamboo and Trevor Services;
- to reply when you contact us;
- to run, secure and improve the site.
We send marketing emails only with your consent. Every one identifies us and includes an unsubscribe link, and we act on an unsubscribe within five business days.
Who we share it with
Only with the service providers that help us run the site and our business: our website host, Vercel Inc.; our own customer and promotions systems; and an email delivery service when we send email. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We may disclose it where the law requires or allows us to.
Information sent overseas

We take reasonable steps to make sure our providers protect your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Keeping it safe, and for how long
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and only people at Bamboo who need it can see it.
We keep your email address while you are on a list and delete it when you unsubscribe or ask us to. We may keep a note that you unsubscribed, so that we do not email you again.
